It seems that Miley Cyrus' provocative topless photos in the June issue of Vanity Fair have helped her to get more fans. Surprisingly, the "Hannah Montana" beauty has gained new fans from older generations, who are prison inmates, right after the scandalous pictures emerged.
Star Magazine reported that Miley received thousands of love letters from men in prison since the semi-nude photos hit newsstands. The men also claimed they have taped her pictures up in their mobile phones. "It's really creeping Miley out," a source told the publication. The source then added, "Both her parents always prayed for her success but never imagined that it would come to this."
Meanwhile, Miley's father Billy Ray Cyrus claimed that he was surprised by his daughter's Vanity Fair pictures since he wasn't there when the pictures were taken. "I did my picture with Miley and then I headed on up to Washington State to play for the troops. I wasn't there at the time, so I was surprised when I saw it... If I could've stayed, I would've," he said on U.S. "Today Show" on Tuesday, June 17. He then added, "Her publicist was there and everybody seemed in control. I didn't think they were going to strip her down and wrap her in a blanket."
