Miley Cyrus is set to host 2008 Teen Choice Awards, which will air on August 4 on Fox.

Miley Cyrus is going to host a spectacular awards show, 2008 Teen Choice Awards. She is the only one who has been chosen as the host of the awards, which will air on August 4 at 8 P.M. PST on Fox. The 10th annual awards show, which celebrates the hottest teen icons in film, television, music, comedy, sports and fashion, will be held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California.
This will be the first time for Miley, hosting an awards show by herself. She apparently will got double success that she serves as the host of the awards and at the same time is nominated in a few categories. She gets four nominations for Choice TV Actress: Comedy, Choice TV Comedy, Choice Music: Single and Choice Music: Female Artist. For Choice Music: Female Artist category, she competes against
Britney Spears,
Stacy Ferguson,
Mariah Carey and
Rihanna.
Meanwhile, Fox has already announced the nominees, including Hollywood celebrities who receive multiple nominations. They are
Chris Brown, Rihanna,
Justin Timberlake,
Kanye West,
Jonas Brothers,
Hayden Panettiere,
Lil Mama, and also Miley.
