Marriage rumors which were recently addressed to 50 Cent and his speculated girlfriend, R&B singer Ciara, are apparently not true. The rapper's representative has come to denial of the rumors, claiming that the pair weren't engaged or even married.
According to Showbiz Spy, the spokeswoman insisted that footage and photos which showed 50 Cent wearing a wedding band were misinterpreted. The rapper is not married, but only plays a married man in his new film "Streets of Blood" and the photos come from the Louisiana set. A statement reads, "50 Cent is not engaged or married. He is currently in production on a film where the character he plays is married."
Secret-wedding rumors started to hit 50 Cent and Ciara after MediaTakeOut reported that the couple were seen wearing the same wedding rings on their ring fingers. The news media also elaborated the reports with some photos of the pair wearing the rings, which fueled speculation that they have got married quietly.
50 Cent has been long rumored to be dating Ciara, who was previously romancing rapper Bow Wow. In 2007, the R&B beauty denied the romance rumors, insisting the rapper was "a really great friend," and "Everybody turns everything into something else." She added, "They said we have a ranch in Atlanta. I just died laughing. It's amazing to hear the things people make up. It's funny."
