Britney Spears previously was reported to have filmed a cameo for The Pussycat Dolls' new video last week in Los Angeles. However, it was unfortunate that latest reports claimed the singer's cameo for the video has been axed from the final edit.
A spokesperson for the five-girl group could not be reached for comment on why Britney was not included in their new video, "When I Grow Up", which will premiere on "FNMTV" on Friday night, June 13. The group's members haven't yet given explanation on the axe during the taping of "FNMTV" in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, June 11.
It was just a week ago that Britney was said to be "hot and blonde" while shooting a cameo for the group's first single from their untitled upcoming album. An unnamed source told USmagazine she did not interact with the group or dance while on set. "They all wave at each other as they are passing in traffic-that is it. Of course, Britney looks hot and blond. It is a very short sequence, but (Britney) had a lot of fun with it. Britney really likes the Dolls' music and when she saw them on the MTV (Movie Awards), she was totally down to do the video," the source told the publication.
