Pop star Britney Spears wants to get back to her music root as she plans to make a grand return by playing an extravagant show in Las Vegas. Latest report claimed that the "Gimme More" singer has an estimated $10 million paycheck for her Las Vegas comeback show.
Rumors first sparked that the 26-year-old singer has planned a Vegas show as she was seen dining with the owner of The Palms Hotel & Casino, Goerge Maloof Jr, in Los Angeles on Tuesday, May 20. Following her meeting with Maloof Jr, British tabloid News of The World then reported that she was alleged to be playing a gig at The Palms Hotel and Casino at the end of this year.
A source told the tabloid that Spears "is finally getting her life-and career-back on track and the whole worlds will see the evidence when she steps on that stage." The source revealed that the Vegas gig will "be one to top them all-a spectacle," adding "It will have jaw-dropping lights, amazing costumes and a performance from Britney to roll back the years." However, a representative for Spears' label has yet given comment on this report.
Spears and Maloof Jr have reportedly been friends for years. Her father Jamie Spears and ex-hubby Kevin Federline have even had business with the casino boss in the past.
