Wants to Be Children Author, Geri Halliwell to Quit Music
Finding reading as the first step to girl power, plans to quit her solo singing career and become an author. Wants to focus on her new career, she will concentrate to write children's book. "I feel like I've hung up my hot pants now. I'll always try and be honest about myself. I've finished as a solo artist. Right now I just feel really comfortable writing books," she said.

Geri's first children's book entitled "Ugenia Lavender-She's Totally Ingenious" is going to be released on May 2. The short description written on it is "How will Ugenia Lavender fit in as the new girl in school? Does she ever discover the meaning of 'The Lovely Illness'? And can she rescue celebrity chef Uncle Harry from a big mix-up?"

Geri previously joined reunion tour and reckoned that it will make the girls become closer. "I feel we are just like a family. We clicked again straight away, it's just like a family traveling in a bubble," she said. Moreover she added, "I really enjoy our relationships. But I always wish I had left the group under better circumstances, rather than just walking out. But that's exactly why I wanted to do it again."
