Sporting a band on her wedding finger, pop diva Mariah Carey was rumored to be engaged to beau Nick Cannon. The singer reportedly sported the alleged engagement ring at the TriBeCa Film Festival at Tenjune in New York on Saturday, April 26. Carey was said to be very happy posing with the diamond ring. She apparently will tie the knot for the second time.
Carey attended the film festival to promote her movie "Tennessee". In the mean time, Cannon also attended the event to promote his basketball film "Ball Don't Lie". However, the two were not seen together at the festival.
Carey reportedly started romantic relationship with Cannon after they teamed up to star in the music video for one of the tracks from her new album "E=MC²". Her romance speculation first sparked after a friend revealed the affair rumors to National Enquirer. The truth behind the rumors was still unclear because the singer has yet to give neither confirmation nor denial concerning the matter.
Carey was previously married to Columbia Records Executive Tommy Mottola back in 1993. Five years later, in 1998, the pop star was officially separated from Tommy. Cannon, on the other hand, has previously been engaged to model Selita Ebanks.
