James Blunt Has Broken His Little Finger in a Concert
James Blunt, the "You're Beautiful" singer took an energetic stage dive at a U.S. gig. In that concert in Ashville, North Carolina, he jumped into the crowd, and unluckily, injured himself. He has broken his little finger on his right hand, and now it is strapped.

Dealing with this, he told The Independent, "Sorry I can't shake your hand, I broke my little finger. I somehow managed to do it whilst I was jumping off stage during a gig in America." The pop star who toured North America in February, also stated, "I don't know what made me do it. I jumped off stage at the end and was chased by women, and men, in the crowd. I started running, and the next thing I knew I had broken my finger. I don't even know how I did it. I can't play the piano but I can still play the guitar with my remaining fingers!"

Apart from being injured, the singer who got an ECHO Award this year, as Best International Male Artist, is still planning to perform for troops in Kosovo later this year, along with opera star Katherine Jenkins. It will not be his first time there, because in 2006, he performed in front of 500 troops. "It makes sense for me to do that because I served there", he stated. James was part of the NATO peacekeeping force in 1999 as an officer in the British Army.
