The circulating rumors claiming that Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z are holding their wedding ceremony on Friday, April 4, may be true ones as a friend has reportedly confirmed the affair.

Jay-Z may be true after all as the latest reports revealed that the pair have indeed exchanged their vows on a private ceremony. According to People, a friend to the couple has opened up that the two accomplished singers have officially be husband and wife on Friday (04.04.08).
To the publication, the friend said, "It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair - close friends and family." However, the official confirmation on the holy secret matrimony has yet to be announced by both camp. E! News claimed that one of Knowles' representative Alan Nierob has refused to confirm the nuptial since he didn't have any information regarding the matter.
On the wedding itself, it was said that the matrimony has been officiated by the Knowles' family minister, who came from Houston. The intimate ceremony was attended by about two dozen friends and family members, among those present were Knowles' mother and father, Knowles' sister
Solange Knowles, Jay-Z's mother Gloria Carter. According to People, the ceremony then followed by a lavish party at Jay-Z's Tribeca apartment.
