The R 'n' B singer Bobby Brown has reportedly confessed of once dating the singer Madonna. The 39-year-old insisted that he was intimate with Madonna before he got serious with his ex-wife Whitney Houston. His confessions are revealed in Brown's new tell-all book "The Truth, the Whole and Nothing But".
In his autobiography, Brown wrote that he had been dating half women in the music industry, including Madonna. He also revealed that his success in the industry has help him to get the women. Brown wrote, "By the time I reached my third single on the Don't Be Cruel album, I was one of the biggest stars in the world. You know what that means. With success comes the women! A wise man once told me that. At this time, "I probably had dated half of the industry, including Madonna."
Further, the "Good Enough" singer confessed that he met the "American Life" singer early in his career. The Boston-born singer also explained about Madonna's career in his book. He wrote, "I met Madonna early in my career. She used to open up shows for New Edition in New York at the beginning of her career, so running back into her and getting to know her better at the height of my success was like a reunion. The list goes on from the who's who to the flavor of the month."
On Whitney's take about Brown's revelation, a representative for Houston said that the "I Will Always Love You" singer who married to Brown from 1992 to 2006 is saddened because her ex-husband revealed his relationship with Madonna in his book. However, the rep revealed that Houston will not speak badly about her ex-hubby. "Miss Houston is sad that Bobby feels he need to say such things but she chooses to take the high road and will not speak badly about the father of her child even if it's to set the record straight," the rep said.
