Again, Rihanna Denied Dating Chris Brown Reportedly, Rihanna has once again denied rumors that she is dating Chris Brown. Her denial came out at the 2008 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, which was held on Saturday, March 29, 2008. The "Umbrella" singer insisted that their relationship is like brother and sister. She said, "We are best friends, honestly, like brother and sister. If he was a boyfriend, I would say that."

Aside from uttering the romance rumors rejection, the Barbados-born singer also supported her words by coming to the event separately from Brown. On the occasion, the 20-year-old singer talked to MTV about her relationship with Brown. She said, "We both started our careers around the same time. He is one of the only people in the industry ... I trust and hang out with all the time."

Meanwhile, Rihanna and Brown also did their best not to be snapped together as they spent Sunday afternoon (30.03.08) at the Grove shopping center in Los Angeles. Reportedly, they shopped at a computer shop, but they entered and exited separately. An insider said, as reported by Gossip Girls, "Then, while waiting for a movie to start, Chris chilled out on a bench with his hood up while Rihanna and her girlfriend headed off to get a bite to eat."

Previously, the pair has been constantly rumored to be romantically linked. The romance speculations has sparked even further since they were photographed canoodling in a Jamaican swimming pool together in late February 2008. They further sparked rumors after they were spotted leaving a London hotel together in March 2008. However, both the singers have denied the rumors.
