Following the rumors claiming Amy Winehouse was considering to go back to rehab, a representative for the singer has let out statement denying the reports soon after. The rep told Usmagazine.com that the 24-year-old is not checking into rehab. "Amy's doing well. She is not going back to rehab at this time," the rep said.
The rumors about going back to rehab surfaced when The Sun reported Amy was photographed in unhealthy look. The Sun claimed her unhealthy condition was caused by drugs use. Commenting on the reports, the rep clarified, "The problem is that her face looks bad because of impetigo - it's not a nice thing, but it's not related to drugs. It's a bacterial infection."
Further, the rep insisted that the "Rehab" singer was breaking from her routines. The rep said that the singer was doing a bit of recording at her home studio. Aside from that, Amy was also planning to go back to the studio properly and trying to free her husband Blake Fielder-Civil from jail.
Amy's husband has stayed behind bars since November 8, 2007. Blake was put into jail in London's Pentoville Prison over charges of a conspiracy to pervert justice. According to Fametastic.co.uk, he has reportedly asked her wife to fund his drug habit while he stays in prison.
