Although rumors are swirling that Tom Cruise is trying to covert his friend Will Smith to Scientology, Will's rep confirmed otherwise.
It has been a common knowledge that
Tom Cruise and wife
Katie Holmes are good friends with another celebrity couple,
Will Smith and
Jada Pinkett Smith, and it has also been sometime that people speculated that Tom is trying to impose his belief on Scientology to Will. A rep from the actor has confirmed that Will is not turning as the follower of the bizarre cult.
Earlier, Radar magazine reported that the church has expanded its "sights on African Americans, opening up a center in Harlem in 2003, and making a strong play for Hollywood supercouple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett." Friends of the Smiths even said that not only Will who will join the community, but Jada was considering it too.
There were also rumors on the "
I Am Legend" star seen handing out cards for "free" Scientology "personality tests" on the set of his new movie "
Hancock".
The CelebrityTruth reached out to the actor's representative, Pat Kingsley to check out the fact whereupon the site was replied with "As Will Smith's publicist I can tell you with 100 per cent certainty that Will is not a Scientologist."
