A-List Guests at Ashton Kutcher's Birthday Bash Exposed to Viral Liver DiseaseA number of A-list celebrities attending 's 30th birthday bash have been urged to get tested for hepatitis A virus after a bartender serving them tested positive for the virus. According to reports, Kutcher, his wife and many other Hollywood big names has been exposed to the viral liver disease when they were attending the actor' birthday party at Socialista in Manhattan's West Village on February 7.

Following the founding, the city health department immediately let out statement telling anyone who went to the restaurant on February 7, 8 or 11 to get tested and get a vaccination. "In response to a case of Hepatitis A in a bartender at Socialista in Manhattan, the Health Department today notified patrons of the exposure and urged them to get a hepatitis A vaccination as a precautionary measure," the statement read, "Hepatitis A is spread by putting something in one's mouth (even though it might look clean) that has been contaminated with traces of fecal matter from an infected person. Any patron who visited the establishment after 8 p.m. on February 7th or 8th, or after 10 p.m. on February 11th (the times the infected person worked after becoming infectious), is considered to be at risk and needs a preventive shot."

Among the party attendance were , , , Lucy Liu, , , Eric Dane and wife Rebecca Gayheart, Molly Sims, Amy Smart, Ivanka Trump, Parker Posey, , stylist Rachel Zoe, designer Roberto Cavalli, and her fiance, Lake Bell. They were scheduled to have health screening on Friday (22.02.08).

On the matter, Socialista issued a statement last night (21.02.08) stating, "Although no additional cases of illness have been identified, the New York City Department of Health is urging customers to get the vaccination as a precautionary measure. We are grateful for their efforts and we will continue to support them in every way possible." Meanwhile, Ruth Bernstein, Kutcher's representative, told Star Magazine, "This is news to me. I'm going to look into it and get back to you."
