"After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further," the two stated in an exclusive statement to the magazine. Murphy and Edmonds tied the knot on New Year's Day in a sunset ceremony on the island in front of only 25 friends and family members. Nevertheless, the newlyweds, according to a source, quickly had their honeymoon got off to a rocky start, particularly due to Murphy's behavior.

"Eddie started yelling at Tracey in front of people," says one of their wedding guests. "He did it on a few occasions and it was very embarrassing."

The twosome were noted to begin dating each other in the fall of 2006 before got engaged last July. Murphy previously married to model Nicole Mitchell from 1993 to 2006 while Edmonds was divorced from R&B singer/songwriter Kenneth "" Edmonds in June 2007.
