Helena Bonham Carter has given birth to her first daughter. According to People, the 'Planet of the Apes' star and her famous helmer husband, Tim Burton, have welcome their second child on Saturday (15.12.07).
To People, Carter's representative gave out confirmation of the happy news saying, "They are absolutely delighted they have a daughter. It's a lovely Christmas present for the family." Aside from the statement, no further details has been shared by her rep.
Earlier, the Golden Globe nominee for her performance in her husband directed musical movie "Sweeney Todd" revealed to the magazine that she learned about the nomination at her doctor office. She said, "We were talking about inducing, and Tim got a call from his assistant. I do look like a globe, so it's kind of funny. I am very round."
About her baby listening to her learning to sing for the movie, the 41-year-old actress jokingly commented, "Maybe the baby's going to come out with his hands on his ears. 'Shut up!'" On the occasion, the mother of 4-year-old Billy also revealed that she cannot wait meeting her second baby saying, "I just can't wait. It's hard to imagine we can make anything other than Billy."
