Timbaland is set to make his acting debut. The hip-hop producer will make a guest appearance in an episode of ABC's long-running soap opera 'One Life To Live', due to air on October 9.
Timbaland - who will tape the show on Friday (21.09.07) - said: "This is a new experience for me, I am looking forward to having a great time and sharing my music!"
The rapper - who has worked with Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake and Madonna - will demonstrate his acting skills before performing his new hit single 'The Way I Are' with R'n'B singer Keri Hilson at the fictional Capricorn club. Executive producer Frank Valentini said: "Timbaland has made a vast contribution to the music industry as an artist and producer. I am a huge fan of his music and we couldn't wait to have him appear on the show."
Timbaland is not the first artist to make a cameo appearance on the show. Mary J. Blige, Erykah Badu and Chris Botti have all performed on the hit series.
